BIGGEST SHOW IN TOWN -- the 2001 SAN ANTONIO STOCK SHOW AND RODEO runs from now until the 18th of February, and Express-News employees may choose to wear appropriate Western / Rodeo attire during that time. Y'all feel free to break out your cowboy hats, boots, fancy shirts / skirts, etc.

Please remember that "appropriate western/rodeo attire" does not include Tee Shirts, worn /torn blue jeans, baseball-type "gimme" caps, etc. Bottomline: We represent the highest standards of the Express-News in our dress, appearance and behavior. Have a great time at the Stock Show and Rodeo.

CHILI TODAY, HOT TAMALE!!! It is time to start planning your chili recipes, team names and showmanship entries! The 3rd Annual Chili Cook-Off will be held on Wednesday, March 21st... Entry forms will be available by Feb.16 for team entries and cook-off rules will be posted on ENsite.

CHILI Committee meetings will begin the week of February 21st...anyone wanting to help on the committee should contact Terri at ext. 3723 before Feb. 21. We are looking for 15 GOOD, BAD, or SPICEY CHILI TEAMS...get your best cooks and fire up the burners.

CREDIT UNION

The Credit Union is holding a candy sale and raffle to benefit the Christus Santa Rosa Children's Hospital. You can buy a $2 box or $1 bar of the World's Finest Chocolate and participate in the raffle of a beautiful Western print by Don Yena for $1.00 a chance. The drawing will be held on February 28th in the Credit Union office at 4:00 PM.
