Latin Music and the Media In conjunction with the Texas Chapter
of the Recording Academy. The process of promoting Latin music in
the media differs from that of mainstream music. Less advance time
associated with record releases and tour information, coupled with
smaller media outlets dictate a nimble approach to getting the word
out. What are the main outlets for information about Latin music?
